This year, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 The Palmetto Opera is participating in Central Carolina Community Foundation’s 9th annual Midlands Gives Day, an 18-hour online giving extravaganza for the Midlands region. We invite you to join the movement and help us reach our goal of $10,000 on May 3.
Here’s how you can join the movement:
1) Early giving begins tomorrow, April 1! If you are not available on giving day, you are able to schedule your donation any time from now until May 2 to make your gift count.
2) Be a philanthropist and give on May 2nd. If you donate to The Palmetto Opera on MidlandsGives.org between 6 am and midnight, your dollar will be stretched with matching funds plus prizes sponsored by local businesses.
3) Spread the word! Tell your friends and loved ones about The Palmetto Opera and Midlands Gives. Don’t forget to tag @PalmettoOpera on Facebook and @PalmettoOperaSC on Instagram with #MidlandsGives. Encourage your friends and family to join you in being a philanthropist.
4) Be a Champion! Create your own personal campaign to raise money for The Palmetto Opera. Choose a goal and share with family and friends. You can create Champion Pages at MidlandsGives.org.
