The Palmetto Opera is making strides in bringing grand scale opera to the Greater Columbia area. Along with Verdi's La Traviata on January 17, 2020 and A Concert of Best Loved Operettas on April 26, 2020, we spend the year providing "pop up" performances for opera education in our community.
This month, Madeline Beitel, mezzo-soprano, Macie Eighmey, soprano, and Sharon Rattray, piano performed at the 150th Anniversary of the South Carolina State Fair in the Cantey Building.
